I dropped them down an inch & realized it is not to stabilize the patella. It is to stabilize the tendons that attach to the lower knee ( I think 🤔 ). I don’t believe it is going to heal anything. But it will relieve the pain of climbing stairs. I found that out the other day at my gym. I have about 20 steps to climb after my yoga class .
